More than 30 gnomes have been stolen from a Felixstowe garden.

Local resident, Lorraine, lives on Maidstone Road and reported that she witnessed several men in hoodies in her neighbours front garden loading up a van with her neighbours garden gnomes.

Lorraine has told us that the lady in question is distraught at the fact that her gnomes, many of which are her priced possessions, have been stolen.

  1. I have moved to Felixstowe having lived in Framlingham and Woodbridge and you are totally on the right track. Look forward to contributing in some way to bring back to the High Street quality individual shops cafes alongside arts music etc. Covered Hamilton road could work …glass ? …greenery to soften and cafe tables with quality buskers etc. Pop up galleries quirky furnitures and clothes even a small museum central to show the histories of felixstowe from Ferry / town / to port Small museums visual and bright can be the best. Look forward to a community meeting of like minded people who could envisage. As one artist suggested to me a few months ago at Gallery 42 on the Corner of Gainsborough Road ….a disused central bank could be a thriving Arts Centre with interesting musics foods and visual arts. (Eye has one) Without a doubt the High Street could definitely reflect the coast/sea life as it is very limited in that way at the moment. To bring the sea to the High Street and a much more stronger reflection of that than it is now. All the best.

  2. At last, someone with innovation, creativity & fresh ideas. Inspirational, I hope theses ideas come to fruition & are not shot down by the ‘moaners’.
